We are again issuing assistance vouchers for French Town Veterinary Clinic; however, it can take up to 3 to 5 months to get an appointment locally, especially for dogs or female cats. (Here is the Application page.) Help for Animals Low-Cost Spay Neuter Clinic, in Barboursville, WV, remains the best alternative for those who have transportation. Their numbers are 304-736-8555 or 800-953-7297. You can also contact them through their website, to view their fees and to schedule an appointment. We apologize for the inconvenience, but this situation is beyond our control. French Town simply cannot keep up with the demand for low-cost spays and neuters, and they are the only veterinarian in Gallia County participating in our program. A SNAP volunteer, on occasion, transports cats to Help for Animals. If you are interested, you can call Chris Cozza at 740-441-1647 for additional information.
